I'm eighteen, I'm from France, and it seems like the whole world is an endless tapestry and melody that I'm still trying to complete. My name is Lana, and I look at everything around me as if through a thin prism. At times like these, I want to pick up a brush or a guitar and talk about it. I paint oil paintings, and each of them is a piece of my mood. Sometimes it is a stormy whirlwind of colors - when emotions overwhelm and require release. And sometimes it’s a quiet, almost weightless landscape, where every detail is painted with trepidation, as if I’m afraid to frighten away this fragile silence. And I also have a guitar. In the evenings, when the city gradually calms down, I sit by the open window, pick it up and play. Either something of my own, born right at this moment, or my favorite melodies that sound new because I pass them through myself. Music and painting are like two languages ​​for me, in which I speak to the world when ordinary words seem too flat.

My hobbies are not just activities, they are my way of breathing. I love painting in oils: I love this moment when the paint falls on the canvas, and you don’t yet know what it will turn into, but you already feel that something real is being born. I love working plein air - inhaling the smell of grass, listening to the wind whisper in the leaves, and trying to capture this feeling on the canvas. I also can’t imagine my life without a guitar. Sometimes I play to express my emotions, and sometimes to calm down, to find an inner rhythm. I like composing my melodies: they are not always perfect, but in them I am real. I also love walking around Paris and photographing unusual details: an old sign, a fancy shadow, a pattern on a tile. Then these pictures become ideas for new paintings or chords. And, of course, I love leafing through the albums of great artists and listening to music from different eras - it’s like talking with those who lived before, but can still teach something

I think that beauty is not just what is pleasing to the eye. This is also what resonates inside. Sometimes the most beautiful thing is a crack in an old wall because it has so much history. Or a drop of rain on a petal, because it reflects the whole world. I think beauty is in the details that most people don't notice. In the way the light falls on the cup in the morning, in the way the shadows dance on the floor, in the way the silence sounds between two chords. And imperfection also has its own beauty: a scratch on wood, an uneven seam, a slightly crooked window - all this makes the world come alive. I believe that every person sees beauty in their own way. For some, these are majestic cathedrals, and for others, it’s the smile of a passerby or the smell of fresh bread. My job as an artist is to see this beauty and try to convey it so that someone else will notice it too.
